Davey Steriflo ALX8/12 Ultraviolet Water Disinfection System with Eight Quartz Sleeves

Designed for large volume fluid treatment applications, the Davey Microlene Steriflo ALX8/12 ultraviolet water disinfection system is suitable for golf course irrigation, agricultural washdown, and large scale watering. It is designed for non-validated potable water supply and greywater treatment, functioning in fluid temperatures up to 60°C.

The treatment chamber is constructed from electropolished 316 stainless steel to prevent corrosion. It incorporates eight high purity quartz sleeves housing eight GIA1554NW high output indium amalgam lamps, which are sealed with sixteen food grade silicon O-rings. The control panel enclosure is polyester powder coated mild steel.

With a power consumption of 1625 Watts, the system operates on a 230–240V / 50Hz supply with a rated circuit breaker of 10 Amps. It achieves a design flow of 240 cubic meters per hour, equivalent to 4000 L/Min, for distilled water at 40 mJ/cm² dosage. Plumbing connections feature 150mm Table E flanges on the chamber.

The system control panel is rated at IP54 and features fan forced ventilation of 105 cubic meters per hour. It integrates a 2x16 alpha numeric LCD display and individual lamp failure detection. Two pump start functions are included to restrict water discharge until the lamps achieve full operating intensity. This unit operates inline.
