It is rated for liquid temperatures reaching 40°C and handles suspended solids up to 50 mm in diameter. The system is engineered for unattended operation in drainage wells where water levels are managed via an integrated float switch.
Hydraulic performance for this 0.75 kW motor includes a maximum flow rate of up to 500 L/Min and a total head of up to 7.9 m. Operating on a 240v single-phase supply, the unit draws a rated current of 5.9 Amps. The air-filled 2-pole dry induction motor has an approximate operating speed of 2800 rpm and is supplied with a 10 m submersible power cable.
The vortex impeller is designed for non-clog operation when handling wastewater containing soft or fibrous solids. This hydraulic design utilizes an open flow path to facilitate the passage of soft and fibrous solids without clogging. Discharge is managed through a 50 mm vertical discharge connection arranged for connection to standard pipework.
Construction features 304 stainless steel for the pump casing, impeller, and motor frame to ensure longevity in submerged environments. Shaft sealing is managed by a double mechanical seal in an intermediate oil-lubricated chamber featuring Silicon Carbide lower faces and Carbon/Ceramic upper faces. The assembly includes an AISI 303 stainless steel shaft and an in-built thermal protector.
