The Enviroswim Copper Test Kit is a water-quality testing kit designed to measure copper ion levels in swimming pools using the Enviroswim freshwater sanitisation system. It is used to ensure that the copper concentration in pool water remains within the recommended operating range for effective sanitisation and safe swimming conditions.

The Enviroswim ES3 sanitising system releases trace copper and silver ions into the pool water as part of the ionisation process that controls algae and bacteria. The copper test kit allows pool owners to regularly monitor the copper level and adjust the ioniser output if required. The ideal copper concentration for proper system operation is typically around 0.2–0.4 ppm, and testing should be performed when the pool pH is within the recommended range (about 7.1–7.4) to ensure accurate readings.

The kit works using a colorimetric testing method. A small water sample is placed in a test vial and reagent drops are added. The water changes colour depending on the copper concentration, and the result is compared against a supplied colour chart to determine the copper level.

Typical kit contents include reagents (buffer and indicator solutions), a test vial or cuvette, a colour comparison chart and instructions for use.
