Enviroswim Semi-Automatic Doser pH Adjustment Dosing System

The Enviroswim Semi-Automatic Doser is a pH adjustment dosing system designed to automatically add controlled amounts of acid to swimming pool water to maintain balanced pH levels. The unit works alongside the Enviroswim ES3 freshwater sanitisation system and the pool filtration pump, helping reduce manual chemical handling while maintaining stable water chemistry.

The dosing system injects hydrochloric acid (pH reducer) into the return line of the pool circulation system. Instead of manually adding chemicals to the pool, the doser gradually feeds diluted acid into the water, helping maintain balanced pH and improving overall water quality. This controlled dosing helps minimise fluctuations in pool chemistry and can reduce chemical usage and maintenance effort.

Unlike fully automatic dosing systems, the Enviroswim doser does not monitor pH levels directly. Instead, it runs whenever the Enviroswim system and pool equipment are operating. Users adjust the dosing rate manually via a dial on the pump to match the pool’s chemical demand.

The system uses a peristaltic dosing pump that draws diluted acid from a container through a suction tube and injects it into the pool return pipe via a discharge line. The flow rate can be adjusted from 0 to approximately 1.1 litres per hour, allowing the user to fine-tune chemical dosing according to pool size and conditions.

Typical components included with the system are the dosing pump, mounting bracket, suction and discharge tubing, non-return valve, injection fitting and installation hardware. The doser is usually installed as the last device in the return line before water returns to the pool.
