It maintains a minimum reserve water level by automatically refilling the tank during periods of low or no rainfall, ensuring essential services continue operating while preserving maximum storage capacity for future rain events.

Engineered for gravity-fed or low-pressure applications, the valve installs through the side wall of a tank above the overflow level to prevent backflow. A weighted float and cord mechanism activates the valve only when water drops below the preset level, then shuts off as the tank refills.
