Deep quarry dewatering and high-lift industrial evacuation are the specialized environments for the Lowara Flygt 2640 HT. This high-head drainage pump is engineered for the rigors of heavy industrial site maintenance where transporting abrasive water against significant vertical lift is a core requirement. It provides a durable solution for civil infrastructure projects that demand high hydraulic pressure and resistance to abrasive grit.

Operating with a powerful 5.6 kW three-phase motor at 415v, the unit provides a maximum flow rate of 1260 L/Min and reaches a maximum head of 45 m. With a rated current of 10 Amps, the motor delivers the necessary torque for vertical liquid transfer in deep infrastructure sumps. The squirrel cage induction motor is designed for continuous duty and can handle up to 30 starts per hour for automated level-controlled dewatering systems.

Sustained hydraulic efficiency is powered by Dura-Spin™ technology, which utilizes a unique closed Hard-Iron® impeller to drastically reduce wear from abrasive particles. The hydraulic system is further protected by the Spin-Out™ design, which expels sand and grit away from the seal chamber, extending the life of the mechanical seals. These innovations ensure the pump maintains its performance profile even in the most abrasive site dewatering applications.

Structural stability is provided by high-density stainless steel used for the outer casing, offering superior corrosion resistance and vibration damping. Sealing is managed by a Plug-in™ mechanical seal system with tungsten carbide faces for maximum motor protection against high-pressure liquid ingress. Safety is reinforced by Class H stator insulation and winding-embedded thermal contacts that trigger at 140°C, ensuring protection under continuous load.

    FEATURES

    • High-performance 5.6 kW motor with Class H insulation (180°C) for heavy-duty industrial service.
    • Dura-Spin™ closed impeller system made from Hard-Iron® for extreme resistance to abrasive wear.
    • Rugged stainless steel outer casing providing exceptional structural durability in harsh liquids.
    • Spin-Out™ design effectively expels abrasive particles from the seal chamber to extend seal life.
    • Standardized 80 mm discharge connection optimized for high-pressure vertical liquid transfer.
    • Integrated thermal protection contacts with a 140°C opening threshold for advanced safety.
    • Plug-in™ mechanical seal system with tungsten carbide faces for superior leakage protection.
    • Heavy-duty SUBCAB® submersible cable with screened control cores for enhanced chemical resistance.
