Building excavation and site maintenance tasks requiring rapid relocation of abrasive water benefit from the open-hydraulic design of the Lowara Flygt 2660 MT-K. This medium-head drainage pump is engineered for heavy industrial use in civil infrastructure sites where handling liquids with high sediment concentrations is a requirement. It provides a stable and efficient solution for facilities needing high-capacity displacement in demanding dewatering duties.

Hydraulic delivery is driven by a powerful 10 kW three-phase motor producing a maximum head of 36 m and an impressive maximum flow rate of 4080 L/Min. Drawing a rated current of 18 Amps at 415v, the induction motor provides the torque needed for high-volume dewatering tasks. The squirrel cage design is built for continuous submerged operation and can manage up to 30 starts per hour in automated, demand-driven systems.

The unit features a specialized Hard-Iron® open impeller designed for non-clogging performance in environments with significant abrasive grit. This configuration works with a specialized suction cover and adjustable single-screw system to maintain precise hydraulic clearances and sustain efficiency. By preventing the accumulation of material around the impeller vanes, the pump avoids motor overloads and ensures consistent flow during prolonged pumping cycles.

Physical construction features a rugged stainless steel outer casing for excellent structural strength and corrosion resistance in contaminated liquids. Sealing is ????? by an aluminium Plug-in™ system with tungsten carbide faces to protect the internal electrical stator assembly. Safety is reinforced by Class H motor insulation and internal thermal contacts that provide an automatic safety shut-off if internal winding temperatures reach 140°C.
