    Pairs well with

Designed for effluent disposal in residential and light commercial applications, the Lowara Flygt MF3069.170 HT254 is a free-standing grinder pump for wet well installations. The unit is placed directly on the bottom of the wet well and incorporates a grinder device to reduce solids before pumping. It provides reliable maceration of wastewater solids for transport through small-bore discharge piping.

Hydraulic performance is driven by a 1.7 kW three-phase squirrel cage induction motor operating at 415v. The unit achieves a maximum flow of 265 L/Min and reaches a 24 m maximum head. Drawing a rated current of 3.8 Amps, the motor supports up to 15 starts per hour in automated level-controlled stations.

Waste processing is managed by an integrated grinder device consisting of a martensitic stainless steel cutter wheel and a stationary cutter plate. This arrangement macerates wastewater solids into a fine slurry, preventing blockages in small-bore piping systems. The pump is designed to handle liquids containing fibrous material concentrations commonly found in effluent applications.

Mechanical construction features gray iron major castings and a pump housing for structural stability. The unit uses a dual mechanical seal system with corrosion-resistant carbide faces to protect the internal electrical stator assembly from liquid ingress. Motor protection is provided by Class F stator insulation and winding-embedded thermal contacts with a 125°C opening threshold for automatic safety shut-off.
