Sewage transfer in small-scale infrastructure stations is the primary application for the Lowara Pit Pig® PP1200DG-3069250. This guide rail mounted packaged station includes a 1200L polyethylene tank and two Flygt MP3069.170 HT250 submersible grinder pumps. The dual-pump configuration provides duty/standby redundancy, and both pumps can operate during peak inflow conditions if configured by the control system. The unit is designed for wet well installations where automatic discharge connection is required. A separately purchased controller and float switches are required for automatic operation.

Each Flygt MP3069.170 HT250 pump is powered by a 2.4 kW three-phase motor operating from a 415V supply. Each unit delivers up to 270 L/Min flow and 35m head. Gray iron (GJL-200) bodies incorporate integrated grinder devices with martensitic stainless steel cutter wheels and stationary cutter plates for effective solids reduction. A dual mechanical seal system with corrosion-resistant carbide faces protects each motor, and both pumps are supplied with 10m SUBCAB power cords.

Housed within a 1200L rotomoulded polyethylene chamber measuring 1200mm in diameter and 1555mm in height, the station includes 40NB PVC pipework, an isolation valve, a non-return valve, lifting chains, and a Class A lid. The guide rail system enables each pump to be independently removed for maintenance without entering the tank.
