Sewage transfer in small-scale infrastructure stations is the primary application for the Lowara Pit Pig® PP900DG-3069250. This guide rail mounted packaged wastewater station includes a 900L polyethylene tank and two Flygt MP3069.170 HT250 submersible grinder pumps. The unit is designed for wet well installations where automatic discharge connection is required. Each pump incorporates a grinder device to reduce solids before pumping through pressurized piping. A separately purchased controller and float switches are required for automatic operation.

The 900L polyethylene tank measures 1200mm in diameter and 1195mm in height. High-density polyethylene provides corrosion resistance and long service life in below-ground installations. The package includes 40NB PVC pipework, an isolation valve, a non-return valve, lifting chains, and a Class A lid.

Each Flygt MP3069.170 HT250 pump has a 2.4 kW three-phase motor and operates from a 415V supply. Each pump delivers up to 270 L/Min flow and 35 m head. The pump body features gray iron (GJL-200) construction with an integrated grinder device utilizing a martensitic stainless steel cutter wheel and cutter plate. This arrangement reduces incoming debris to a pumpable consistency, preventing blockages and ensuring continuous operation. Each pump includes a dual mechanical seal system with carbide faces and comes with a 10m SUBCAB power cord.

The guide rail system allows each pump to be raised for inspection or servicing without entering the tank. The dual-pump setup offers operational redundancy. The Class A lid provides secure access for routine service.
