MATelec FPC-11006 Tank Fill Pump Controller with 6A GPO & 24Vac Float Switch Control

Transferring collected water from stormwater pits into main storage vessels requires coordinated electrical switching to stop pump operation before an overflow occurs. The MATelec FPC-11006 Tank Fill Pump Controller manages this transfer cycle by cutting power to the transfer pump when the destination reservoir reaches capacity.

Level tracking functions via a low-voltage float switch positioned within the storage tank. When fluid reaches the full point, the float switch contacts close, prompting the controller to de-energize the pump output socket and turn on the front-panel tank full indicator lamp. As water is drawn down and the float switch resets, electrical supply to the pump is restored automatically.

Switched power is delivered through an integrated general purpose outlet rated for a 6 Amp maximum continuous load on a single-phase 230Vac supply. Control and sensor circuits operate on an isolated 24Vac low-voltage platform. The unit is housed in a 200 x 160 x 95 mm IP54 rated polycarbonate enclosure suited for indoor and sheltered outdoor installations.

External connections utilize quick-plug ports, removing the need to access internal terminals during installation. The unit connects to mains power through a pre-wired 1.5 m 10 Amp power lead and includes a model 9006 float switch with 10 m of submersible cable.
