Wet wells and sumps with greater depth between the common and high level setpoints require a longer probe shaft to span the sensing range, and the FPC-12532 extends the probe length to 400 mm while retaining the same four-point conductivity sensing architecture. UV resistant PVC forms the probe body, with 316 stainless steel electrodes positioned at 150 mm intervals to define the common, stop, start, and high level detection points. A 10 m submersible rubber cable carries the four signals to a conductivity sensing relay.
The total probe length measures 425 mm with a 55 mm base section, and the increased spacing between sensing points accommodates tanks where the liquid level varies over a wider band. Each electrode is manufactured from 316 stainless steel for corrosion resistance across potable water, grey water, black water, storm water, and rain water service conditions. Epoxy resin fills the internal cavity to protect the cable termination points from moisture ingress.
Vertical installation within the tank positions the common electrode at the lowest point and the high level electrode at the top of the sensing range. The probe connects to a conductivity sensing relay that monitors resistance changes between the stainless steel electrodes and provides switching outputs to the pump control circuit. Wire labels correspond to the terminal markings on the relay module, simplifying installation and reducing wiring errors during commissioning.
