For the FPC-12570 range, MATelec lists the FPC-12570-24-SE with a 0–10m depth range and 24m cable. It is specified within the sewage hydrostatic level transducer range covering sewage, wastewater and trade waste level measurement.
Pressure is sensed through a ceramic diaphragm, with an accuracy of ±0.5% F.S and an overload pressure specification of 1.5 times full scale. These characteristics form part of the published technical specification for the sewage range.
A 12–30Vdc supply provides the operating power, while the transducer returns a 4–20mA DC output signal. Response time is 10ms, and the electrical connection uses three wires with a breather tube. The connection diagram identifies blue as -ve and also shows red and yellow wires, and the breather tube should not be kinked or obstructed.
Its 316L stainless steel housing and IP68 classification provide the specified physical protection. The unit is rated for -10°C to 70°C operation and 20g vibration over 20–5000Hz, with a Ø7.5mm OD PUR polyurethane cable. Operating life is greater than 1×10^8 pressure cycles, and MATelec also notes excellent repeatability, long-term stability and anti-interference ability. The dimensional drawing includes 160mm, Ø28mm, 10mm, 10mm, Ø10mm, 47mm and Ø99mm callouts, while the installation diagram specifies 100mm and 50mm minimum clearances at the sensing end.
