For installations using a 24m cable, the MATelec FPC-12575-24-SE covers the listed 0–4m sewage depth range. It forms part of the sewage hydrostatic level transducer range for sewage, wastewater and trade waste.
The sensing element is a ceramic diaphragm, and the specified accuracy is ±0.5% F.S. MATelec gives the overload pressure as 1.5 times full scale, while the published range is intended for depth or level measurement in the stated waste-water applications.
Electrical characteristics include a 12–30Vdc supply, 4–20mA DC output and 10ms response time. The three-wire connection incorporates a breather tube, which needs to remain free from kinks and obstruction so that the specified connection arrangement is maintained.
IP68 protection is combined with a 316L stainless steel housing, and the operating temperature is specified from -10°C to 70°C. The unit has a Ø7.5mm OD PUR polyurethane cable and a vibration specification of 20g over 20–5000Hz. Excellent repeatability and long-term stability are also identified by MATelec. The dimensional drawing includes 160mm, Ø28mm, 10mm, 10mm, Ø10mm, 47mm and Ø99mm callouts, while the installation diagram specifies 100mm and 50mm minimum clearances at the sensing end.
