Where both high inverter capacity and extended battery runtime are essential, the FPC-12597-450 combines the 8kVA inverter platform with a 450 A/h battery bank to sustain loads over longer outage durations. The single phase 230Vac mains input feeds the inverter and charges the battery set, with automatic changeover to battery supply when mains failure is detected. The constant 230Vac output powers pump controllers, BMS panels, or other loads that require uninterrupted operation.

Sixteen 6V batteries connected in series produce the 48Vdc rail for the inverter, and the system accepts a maximum starting current of 70 Amps with a maximum run current of 35 Amps. The inverter unit is housed in its own enclosure measuring 650 x 250 x 505 mm, separate from the main battery and control cabinet. This configuration distributes the thermal load and simplifies service access to the power electronics and battery charger modules.

The main enclosure measures 1200 x 800 x 400 mm, constructed from powder coated mild steel with IP44 protection. A padlockable DC battery isolator switch and battery protection fuse provide isolation on the DC side, and din rail terminal blocks accept the AC supply and load conductors. The battery charger, power monitor, and control interface are located within the inverter enclosure, with the battery status readable on the inverter display at all times.
