SMS alarm messaging is the defining feature of the MATelec Australia FPC-12651-SMS Liquid Level Alarm. The ME-Link cellular CAT-M1 remote monitoring module sends SMS notifications from the level alarm and up to five additional digital inputs. The unit is housed in an IP54 rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with removable gland plate.
The ME-Link module utilises the 700MHz frequency and requires a micro SIM card from a network provider with CAT-M1 enabled. SMS commands configure the operation and alarms without requiring additional software. Up to ten phone numbers can receive messages. Notification options include once, repeat or sequential messaging. A battery backup maintains operation during mains power failure.
Visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms provide local annunciation. An auto-silencing feature silences the buzzer after five minutes if not muted, then sounds briefly every five minutes. This feature can be disabled if continuous alarm is required. Two onboard relay outputs allow remote control of external devices via SMS commands. A vandal resistant antenna is included, with a remote mount high gain antenna available for low signal strength areas.
Installation requires a single phase 230Vac supply and a micro SIM card with CAT-M1 enabled. Electrical connections must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered electrician. A 10 Amp 3 pin 1.5m power supply lead is included.
