MATelec FPC-12657 IP54 Single Phase Liquid Level Alarm with Battery Backup

Battery backup distinguishes the MATelec Australia FPC-12657 Liquid Level Alarm from standard set-point alarms. When mains power fails, the internal battery maintains alarm operation, ensuring continued protection for critical tank level monitoring. The unit is housed in an IP54 rated enclosure measuring 240x195x95mm.

Operation requires a single phase 230Vac supply with a digital input from a float switch. Reaching the set-point triggers both visual strobe and audible buzzer indication. The battery backup engages automatically during power outages, keeping the alarm functional until mains supply returns. Status indicator lights display power on, battery status and alarm conditions.

An alarm mute button provides local silencing. The auto-silencing feature silences the buzzer after five minutes if not muted, then sounds briefly every five minutes. This feature can be disabled if continuous alarm is required. Low voltage control and input circuitry ensures safe operation.

Installation requires a single phase 230Vac supply. Electrical connections must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered electrician in accordance with relevant standards.
