Matelec FPC-12660 IP54 Polycarbonate Liquid Level Alarm for Undersink Sullage

The Matelec FPC-12660 is a specialised undersink sullage chamber alarm designed to monitor liquid levels in greywater collection tanks beneath sinks, dishwashers or commercial food preparation areas. It provides immediate audible warning and automatic equipment shut-off when the chamber reaches a critical high level, helping prevent overflow, flooding and wastewater backflow.

Housed in a durable IP54-rated polycarbonate enclosure, the unit is suitable for indoor or sheltered installations. The system operates using a pre-wired magnetic float switch that detects rising liquid levels and triggers the alarm panel. When a high-level condition occurs, the controller isolates power to the connected appliance — typically a dishwasher — preventing further inflow into the chamber.

The panel features an electronic keypad interface with indicator lights for power and alarm status, along with an audible buzzer that can be muted or reset via the front controls. Low-voltage input circuitry enhances safety and allows installation without hard wiring. A built-in GPO outlet supplies power to the appliance, while a volt-free output enables connection to building management systems for remote fault indication.

Supplied as a complete kit with float switch and power lead, the FPC-12660 offers a simple plug-and-play solution for protecting undersink drainage systems in residential, commercial kitchens and hospitality environments.
