Corporate commercial fit-outs frequently mandate comprehensive fluid containment and multi-appliance electrical shutdown under consultant engineering specifications. The MATelec FPC-12662-NDY Undersink Sullage Chamber Alarm Controller is engineered to Norman Disney & Young requirements to provide dual-zone liquid detection and triple-appliance isolation.
The system monitors both sullage pit level via a magnetic float switch and base leakage via a drip tray moisture probe. If either condition occurs, the controller sounds an audible buzzer, pulses closed the 20 mm 12Vdc water valve, and isolates power across three dedicated 10 Amp GPO outlets supplying the pump, boiling water unit (BWU), and dishwasher. Disconnection of main power automatically closes the water valve.
The unit is built into an IP54 rated polycarbonate housing measuring 330 x 260 x 135 mm and operates from a 230Vac single-phase supply. Internal 12Vdc low-voltage circuits isolate sensor and valve lines, while a volt-free relay contact connects to the building automation network.
The front electronic keypad includes power on and alarm status lamps and a mute/reset/test push button. Standard inclusions feature three 10 Amp 1.5 m mains power cables, a 20 mm 12Vdc pulse latching solenoid valve, a 10 m magnetic float switch, and a pre-connected moisture probe.
