Commercial breakout kitchens fed by independent hot and cold plumbing supplies require dual-valve actuation to stop water delivery during drainage blockages. The MATelec FPC-12667 Undersink Sullage Chamber Alarm Controller provides dual 20 mm water line isolation and single dishwasher electrical shutdown upon sullage pit high level events.
Fluid monitoring functions through a magnetic float switch in the sullage pit. When wastewater reaches the alarm threshold, the unit initiates an audible buzzer alarm, pulses closed two separate 20 mm 12Vdc solenoid valves on both water lines, and de-energizes a 10 Amp GPO socket connected to the dishwasher.
Enclosed in an IP54 rated polycarbonate body measuring 175 x 130 x 80 mm, the controller connects to a 230Vac single-phase supply. Sensor inputs and valve outputs operate on an isolated 12Vdc low-voltage circuit design, and a volt-free relay is included for BMS reporting.
The front keypad houses status LEDs for power on and alarm conditions alongside an alarm mute, reset, and test push button. The system comes complete with two 10 Amp 1.5 m power supply leads, two 20 mm male-to-male 12Vdc pulse latching solenoid valves, and a 10 m magnetic float switch.
