MATelec FPC-12675 High Level Alarm Controller with 85dB Buzzer & 12Vdc Latching Valve

Wastewater installations with mechanical discharge pumps require incoming water services to be isolated if a collection vessel reaches an abnormal level. The MATelec FPC-12675 High Level Alarm and Valve Shut-Off Controller manages this condition using two float switches, initiating local warning at the first threshold and shutting off mains water at the second.

Monitoring is structured across two discrete float stages. When liquid reaches the lower float switch, the controller activates an 85 dB audible buzzer and visual flashing strobe. If the water level rises further and trips the upper float switch, the system pulses closed a 12Vdc latching solenoid valve to cut incoming mains water and prevent pit overflow. The valve is also pulsed closed automatically if mains power fails.

Powered by a single-phase 230Vac mains connection, internal circuits convert signaling to a safe 12Vdc low-voltage network. The IP54 polycarbonate enclosure measures 200 x 160 x 95 mm and features quick-plug connections for fast installation without internal panel wiring. A volt-free output contact is provided for building management system integration.

The front interface incorporates a membrane keypad with status indicator lights and a combined mute, reset, and test push button. Selectable PCB dipswitches allow technicians to enable a 5-minute auto-silencing buzzer timer and choose between automatic reset upon level clearance or latching manual reset.
