MATelec FPC-12707 Solar Wireless Tank Level Indicator with 12Vdc Solar Transmitter & Receiver (500m)

Remote storage tanks located far from electrical connections require autonomous power to transmit fluid depth data to central monitoring points. The MATelec FPC-12707 Tank Level Indicator pairs an off-grid 12Vdc solar-powered transmitter station with a mains-powered digital display receiver panel to deliver wireless level visibility.

The solar-powered transmitter station connects to a submerged 316 stainless steel hydrostatic transducer at the remote reservoir, broadcasting 60-second radio signal bursts over a 500-meter line-of-sight link. The indoor mains-powered receiver captures the transmission and updates its digital LED process meter to show real-time depth, percentage, or volume in Litres.

The transmitter is housed in a weatherproof mild steel enclosure powered by an integrated 12Vdc battery storage system and solar charge regulator coupled to an external solar panel. The receiver panel operates on a standard 230Vac single-phase supply within a 300 x 300 x 150 mm powder-coated mild steel enclosure.

Both panels feature removable gland plates for organized cable routing. The complete system includes the solar transmitter panel with battery system, the mains receiver panel, antennas, a 0 to 4 m 316 stainless steel hydrostatic sensor with 24 m vented cable, and a 1.5 m power lead for the receiver.
