MATelec FPC-12708-BBU Dual Tank Level Indicator with Battery Backup & 2x Hydrostatic Sensors

Continuous level visibility can be maintained even when mains power is interrupted across critical dual-tank storage installations. The MATelec FPC-12708-BBU Tank Level Indicator combines dual-tank hydrostatic monitoring with an internal battery backup system to provide continuous display and sensor operation.

The unit receives two independent 4-20mA analogue signals from submerged 316 stainless steel transducers, displaying individual tank levels on two separate front digital LED process meters. During a mains electrical failure, the internal battery system keeps both displays and sensor loops operational for up to 10 hours.

Housed in an IP44 rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure measuring 300 x 300 x 150 mm, the controller connects to a standard 230Vac single-phase supply. Internal power regulation manages sensor loop supply and battery charging.

Sensor leads enter through a removable bottom gland plate to maintain organized enclosure wiring. The system includes two 316 stainless steel hydrostatic pressure sensors (0 to 4 m range), two 24 m lengths of vented submersible cable, an internal battery, and a 1.5 m mains lead.
