MATelec FPC-12725-E Mild Steel IP56 3PH 12-18A Rain Mains Controller

When the pump motor draws more than 13A, the FPC-12725-E is the three phase rain mains controller you need. This deluxe unit from MATelec carries a fixed 12-18A thermal overload rating, making it suitable for larger single pump installations on 400Vac supply.

The controller watches the tank level through the low-level float switch input and monitors system pressure through the working pressure switch input. With rain water available, it pulse closes the mains water valve and hands pump control over to the pressure switch. When the tank is empty, a pump fault occurs or the power fails, the controller shuts the pump down and pulses the valve open for mains water.

Status visibility comes from the electronic keypad with indicator lights showing rain water, mains water and system fault conditions. The system test button provides a quick way to verify pump and valve operation during installation or service visits without needing to create fault scenarios.

The enclosure is IP56 powder coated mild steel at 400x300x200mm with an inner door and removable gland plate. A padlockable mains isolator, circuit breaker protected low voltage control and input circuitry, and a contactor with thermal overload protection keep the installation safe, with pump overload shut-down as the documented fault response.
