Two pumps, two VSDs, three phase supply - the FPC-12744 is the dual-pump three-phase configuration in MATelec's rain mains motor mount VSD family. It handles two VSD fault inputs and issues two volt free enable signals while keeping the family's rain-first, mains-backup logic.
Level monitoring comes from the 12Vdc float switch input, and both drives are watched through dedicated 12Vdc VSD fault inputs. With rain water available, the controller sends enable signals to both drives and pulse closes the mains water valve. If the rain water runs out, either VSD faults or the power fails, both enables stop and the valve pulses open for mains water.
The control module is housed in an IP56 powder coated mild steel enclosure at 400x300x200mm with an inner door and removable gland plate. Front panel interaction is through the rain/mains keypad with indicator lights for mains and tank water use and system fault. A system test/reset button lets you check pump and valve function and reset faults.
A 25mm female/female 12Vdc pulse latching solenoid valve ships with the panel for the mains water side. Optional modifications include a 316 stainless steel enclosure, filter-blocked signal input, tank level meter and fill control, SMS messaging via ME-Link module, and alternative valve sizes.
