Wireless transmission of digital control signals removes the requirement for physical cabling between distant level switches and pump starter panels. The MATelec FPC-13095-2DIO-UHF Remote Signal Communicator uses point-to-point UHF radio bursts to transfer two digital switch states across distances up to 500 meters line-of-sight.
The paired system comprises a transmitter panel and a receiver panel communicating on 434.65MHz. The transmitter accepts up to two digital 12Vdc inputs (such as float or pressure switches) and broadcasts a radio signal burst every 60 seconds. The receiver receives the broadcast and actuates two corresponding switched relay outputs to control remote pump operations.
Operating on 230Vac single-phase power, both panels use internal low-voltage regulation for their radio transceivers. Each enclosure is built from powder-coated mild steel measuring 300 x 200 x 150 mm and carries an IP55 weatherproof rating for outdoor service.
Removable gland plates on both units provide organized entry for power and control lines. The package includes transmitter and receiver panels, two external UHF antennas, mounting brackets, and two 10 Amp 3-pin 1.5 m mains supply leads.
