Industrial water transfer facilities often require multi-channel, two-way telemetry to exchange digital commands and analogue sensor data simultaneously. The MATelec FPC-13099 Remote Signal Communicator is a bidirectional 900MHz radio telemetry system providing high-capacity signal transmission across distances up to 3 km line-of-sight without field cables.
The system operates a wireless link via Modbus RS-485 I/O modules and 900MHz transceivers. Each panel accommodates two 4-20mA analogue inputs and six digital 24Vdc inputs, replicating them at the opposite panel as two 4-20mA passive analogue outputs, six digital volt-free relays, and a radio link healthy fault contact.
Both master and slave enclosures are built from powder-coated mild steel measuring 400 x 400 x 200 mm each, carrying an IP56 weatherproof protection rating. Both panels run on single-phase 230Vac mains supplies and feature front LED indicators displaying radio link status, signal strength, and fault diagnostics.
Removable bottom gland plates accommodate multi-cable entry on both panels. The complete package includes two IP56 enclosures, two 900MHz transceivers, two remote-mount high-gain antennas with 10 m cables, and two 1.5 m 10 Amp power leads.
