MATelec FPC-15900-(AA-D) Mild Steel IP54 1PH 1.6-13A DOL Motor Starter

Sometimes you just need a simple motor starter that turns the pump on and off without any bells and whistles. The FPC-15900-(AA-D) is exactly that - a single phase direct on line motor starter from MATelec for straightforward pump control applications.

The starter comes with overload protection matched to your pump motor, with six selection options from 1.6A to 13A. A contactor handles the switching while thermal overload protection shuts the pump down if the current exceeds the set point, giving you basic but reliable motor protection.

An IP54 powder coated mild steel enclosure at 300x300x150mm protects the starter with a removable gland plate for cable entry. A padlockable mains power isolator, circuit breaker protected low voltage control and din rail mounted terminal connections round out the construction.

Control is through a simple selector switch with auto, off and manual positions. In auto, the pump responds to two 24Vac digital inputs from level floats or pressure switches. In manual, the pump runs continuously regardless of the inputs - handy for testing or emergency operation. Modifications include IP56 enclosure with inner door, 316 stainless steel construction, indicator lights for power on/pump run/fault, remote start/stop and emergency stop isolation.
