MATelec FPC-15905-(AA-D) Mild Steel IP54 3PH 1.6-13A DOL Motor Starter

Three phase pumps need three phase starting, and the FPC-15905-(AA-D) does exactly that without any complexity. This direct on line motor starter from MATelec is built for straightforward single pump applications where you just need the motor to start and stop reliably.

Six overload selections from 1.6A to 13A let you match the protection to your pump motor. A contactor switches the motor supply while the thermal overload relay shuts the pump down on overcurrent, providing the basic protection your motor needs for long service life.

The starter sits in an IP54 powder coated mild steel enclosure measuring 300x300x150mm with a removable gland plate. A padlockable mains power isolator, circuit breaker protected low voltage control and din rail mounted terminals are all part of the standard fit.

Operation is through a selector switch with auto, off and manual positions. In auto mode, the pump starts and stops based on two 24Vac digital inputs from float switches or pressure switches. In manual, the pump runs continuously regardless of the inputs - useful for filling tanks or testing. Modifications include IP56 enclosure with inner door, 316 stainless steel construction, indicator lights for power on/pump run/fault, remote start/stop and emergency stop isolation.
