MATelec FPC-15905-S11 Mild Steel IP56 3PH 11kW Soft Starter Pump Controller

At 11kW, the FPC-15905-S11 is a serious soft starter for serious pump applications. This three phase controller from MATelec brings larger motors up to speed gradually, reducing electrical inrush current and eliminating the mechanical shock of direct on line starting.

The soft start and soft stop parameters are user adjustable, letting you tailor the acceleration and deceleration ramps to your specific application. Whether you are pumping water, sewage or chemicals, you can set the ramp times to match the system requirements.

An IP56 powder coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door protects the soft starter from weather and dust. Enclosure size increases with the kW rating, so dimensions vary from the standard 300x300x150mm DOL footprint used on lower power starters.

Automatic control uses two 24Vac digital inputs that take signals from cut-off and working level floats or pressure switches. A selector switch offers auto, off and manual modes, and thermal overload protection shuts the pump down on overcurrent. Soft starters are available only on three phase panels. Modifications include 316 stainless steel enclosure, indicator lights, remote start/stop and emergency stop isolation.
