MATelec FPC-71011-(AA-E) AS 2941 Compliant 1PH 230Vac Fire Hose Reel Pump Controller (1.6-18A)

Dedicated hose reel booster pumps must deliver immediate water flow upon reel deployment in compliance with Australian Standard AS 2941-2013 Section 6. The MATelec FPC-71011-(AA-E) Fire Hose Reel Pump Controller provides automated single-phase starting, running indication, and motor overload protection for fire hose reel installations.

Automatic pump activation is initiated upon receiving a signal from a 24Vdc digital pressure switch monitoring the hose reel pipework. A door-mounted selector switch allows switching between automatic pressure control and manual pump operation. In an overload event, thermal protection circuitry shuts down the pump and illuminates a front fault lamp.

Configured for a single-phase 230Vac electrical supply, the controller incorporates an internal contactor and thermal overload relay selectable from 0.7 to 18 Amps (suffixes AA to E). The 300 x 200 x 150 mm red powder-coated mild steel enclosure carries an IP54 rating and features a padlockable rotary mains isolator.

Front status is displayed via three LED lamps indicating power on, pump run, and overload fault. The unit provides dedicated single-phase pump supply terminals, internal DIN-rail connections, and a removable gland plate for cable entry.
