MATelec FPC-71013-(AA-E) AS 2941 Compliant 3PH 400Vac Fire Hose Reel Pump Controller (1.6-18A)

Large commercial and industrial buildings require three-phase booster pump control to meet water flow mandates under Australian Standard AS 2941-2013 Section 6. The MATelec FPC-71013-(AA-E) Fire Hose Reel Pump Controller delivers automated starting, status indication, and motor thermal protection for three-phase fire hose reel pumps.

The unit initiates automatic pump start upon a pressure drop detected by a 24Vdc digital pressure switch on the fire main. A front Auto/Manual selector switch enables testing and emergency manual running. An integrated thermal overload relay detects overcurrent conditions, shutting down the pump and illuminating the front overload fault lamp.

Operating on a 400Vac three-phase mains supply, the panel includes a three-phase contactor and adjustable thermal overload mechanism with current ratings from 0.7 to 18 Amps across model suffixes AA to E. The red powder-coated mild steel IP54 housing measures 300 x 200 x 150 mm and includes a padlockable door isolator.

High-visibility front LED lamps display power on, pump run, and overload fault states. Internal components are mounted on DIN rails with a removable bottom gland plate for motor and mains power cabling.
