Matelec FSW-12410 9004 IP68 Submersible Float Switch for Oil/Chemicals

The Matelec FSW-12410 is a heavy-duty submersible float switch designed for reliable liquid level control in oil, chemical and wastewater environments. Built for harsh industrial conditions, it is suitable for controlling pumps, alarms or valves when fluid levels rise or fall, helping protect equipment from overflow or dry-running.

Constructed with a robust polypropylene housing and oil- and chemical-resistant cable, the switch resists corrosion, contamination and material build-up for long service life. The mechanically activated snap-action contacts provide dependable switching performance, while the unique sliding detent mechanism minimises wave-induced oscillation to maintain accurate switching levels even in turbulent liquids.

Rated IP68 for full submersion up to approximately 9 metres, the unit operates safely in demanding tank, sump and process applications. The switching differential can be adjusted by repositioning the cable weight, allowing precise control of start and stop levels to suit specific installations.
