MATelec FSW-12412 9004 Oil and Chemical-Resistant 20m CPE N/O Float Switch

A 20 m cable is fitted to this 9004 float switch, allowing the cable to be secured at a chosen height to establish the required switching levels. Its smooth polypropylene switch housing is intended to reduce the adhesion of foreign materials. The specified liquid temperature range is 5°C to 60°C, with IP68 protection at 9 m (30 ft) and corrosion resistance.

Electrical switching uses a mechanically activated snap-action contact arrangement. For this SKU, the manufacturer's range table specifies normally open operation and a maximum run current of 10 A at 240 Vac 50/60 Hz. The supplied cable uses Chlorinated Polyethylene (CPE) and is specified at ø8 mm / 2 x 0.75 mm², with 20 m of cable on this model.

The manufacturer specifies a sliding detent action to obviate wave-induced oscillation and maintain consistency in switching level accuracy. During setup, the cable is secured at the desired height and the differential is adjusted by changing the cable weight position.
