MATelec FSW-12519 9010 High Buoyancy Sewage Rated 20m Neoprene NO/NC Float Switch

A 20 m Neoprene rubber cable is fitted to this 9010 model, which uses a robust ABS housing and the series' sliding detent action. The float housing is ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), with the manufacturer specifying 5°C to 60°C liquid temperature and 0.65 to 1.5 g/cm³ liquid density.

Electrical switching is provided through NO and NC microswitch contacts at the specified 20° switching angle from horizontal. The unit is rated for 6 A at 240 Vac, with 10,000-switch contact life and 600/min switching speed.

IP68 protection is specified at 20 m (65 ft), together with a 0.35 MPa working pressure rating. The supplied 20 m cable is Neoprene rubber and is specified at ø7 mm / 3 x 0.75 mm².

For level adjustment, the manufacturer specifies securing the cable at the desired height and changing the position of the 220 g cable weight. The farther the weight is placed from the float, the greater the switching differential; the float also has excellent buoyancy.
