MATelec FSW-12531 9006 High Precision Repeatability 15m Neoprene NO/NC Float Switch

For a 15 m cable reach, this 9006 float switch combines an ABS housing with the series sliding detent mechanism used to maintain consistency in switching level accuracy. The float has a smooth, robust ABS switch housing that reduces adhesion of foreign materials. The specified liquid temperature range is 5°C to 60°C, with a liquid density range of 0.65 to 1.5 g/cm³.

The microswitch has both NO and NC contacts and operates at a switching angle of 25° from horizontal. Maximum run current is 6 A at 240 Vac 50/60 Hz, with a contact life of 10,000 switches and a switching speed of 600/min.

Protection is IP68 @ 20 m (65 ft), with a working pressure of 0.35 MPa. The cable is 7 mm Neoprene rubber with 3 x 0.75 mm² construction, and this version is supplied with 15 m of cable.

The sliding detent action obviates wave-induced oscillation and helps maintain consistency in switching level accuracy. For setup, the cable is secured at the required height and the 220 g cable weight can be moved relative to the float to change the switching differential; moving it farther away increases the differential.
