MATelec FSW-12532 (9) 9006 High Precision Repeatability 20m Neoprene NO/NC Float Switch

This bulk pack contains 9 units of the 9006 float switch, each supplied with a 20 m Neoprene rubber cable. Each unit uses a 220 g cable weight, with the weight position used to adjust the switching differential. The ABS housing is smooth and robust, helping reduce adhesion of foreign materials. The switch is specified for liquids from 5°C to 60°C and densities from 0.65 to 1.5 g/cm³.

Switching is provided by a microswitch with NO and NC contacts. The specified switching angle is 25° from horizontal, while the electrical rating is 6 A at 240 Vac 50/60 Hz. Contact life is 10,000 switches and switching speed is 600/min.

The switch is rated IP68 @ 20 m (65 ft) and 0.35 MPa working pressure. Its cable is specified as ø7 mm / 3 x 0.75 mm² Neoprene rubber, with a total length of 20 m per unit.

Level adjustment is made by securing the cable at the desired height and changing the position of the 220 g cable weight. A greater distance between the weight and float produces a greater switching differential, while the sliding detent action helps prevent wave-induced oscillation.
