MATelec HydroLITE FPC-10000 ABS IP54 Single Phase 16A DOL Dual Pump Controller

The MATelec HydroLITE FPC-10000 is a compact pump controller for up to two single phase pumps or motors drawing up to 16 A each, designed with simplified functionality and control at its core for residential and light commercial installations. It constantly monitors the state of an attached pump, alternates between pumps in a dual pump system, and provides warning and indication of any anomalies with the hardware or the system.

Level control mode runs empty or fill operation from up to three float switches assigned to Stop Level, Start Level and High Level, while pressure control mode runs pressure boosting from up to three pressure switches assigned to Stop Pressure, Start Pressure and Low Pressure. Duty alternates on pump start and after 30 minutes of continuous running in alternation mode, or after 6 hours of accumulated running in recirculation mode, and a static duty mode is available where a smaller duty pump should always start first. Manual pump mode includes an optional 5 minute timeout back to automatic operation.

Pump current sensing provides adjustable overload, undercurrent and zero current protection, backed by electronic short and overload protection with alarms. The high level alarm suits stormwater duty, alarming after a 15 minute delay with automatic reset, or sewage duty, alarming after 1 minute with manual reset only. Low pressure protection alarms and shuts the pumps down if the low pressure input stays closed for 60 seconds, pump anti-seize runs the pumps periodically during low use to prevent seizing, and smart chirp alarms silence the buzzer after 5 minutes if it is not muted, then chirp every 5 minutes.

The controller is housed in an IP54 rated ABS enclosure suitable for undercover installation out of direct sunlight, with a padlockable mains power isolator switch and low voltage control and input circuitry. Prior to installation, ensure the power supply is isolated. All electrical connections must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered electrician in accordance with relevant electrical standards.
