The FPC-81143-E HydroSTART is an indoor-rated single-pump controller configured for three-phase 400 Vac electrical installations. It is enclosed in a powder-coated mild steel IP54 single-door housing for neat indoor utility mounting. This standard controller is designed to manage sewage or stormwater sump pits with simple, dependable starting logic.

The three-phase 400 Vac controller coordinates power distribution to a single submersible pump motor. For primary overload protection, the panel is equipped with a standard external thermal overload rated for 12 to 18 Amps. The bimetallic strip elements deflect under sustained overcurrent to mechanically open the control circuit. This physical safety mechanism requires a cooldown period before the fault can be reset from the keypad.

Integrated PCB DIP switches allow selection between level control empty-pit and pressure-boosting configurations. Level control empty operations utilize float inputs for low level, stop, start, and high level. In pressure mode, a single pressure switch starts the pump when pressure drops. Manual pump run is selectable on the keypad, featuring an optional five-minute timeout to safely revert to automatic mode.

This indoor-rated single-door IP54 mild steel panel features individual circuit breaker protection and three-phase contactor switching. The single-pump capacitive touch keypad has LEDs for power, auto, and fault status. Alarm events trigger a visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms provide indication of system faults, utilizing smart chirp to silence alerts after five minutes. Remote BMS monitoring is supported via the common fault relay, while SCADA utilizes Modbus RTU RS485. Software safety includes low-level and 7-day pump anti-seize cycles.
