The FPC-81241 is a standard dual-pump HydroSTART level controller designed for single-phase 230 Vac networks. Housed in a compact IP54 single-door powder-coated mild steel enclosure, it is designed for indoor wall mounting. This panel coordinates two submersible pumps in drainage sump pits to manage balanced duty cycles.
The dual-pump controller operates on single-phase 230 Vac mains power, feeding separate switching circuits. Electronic overload protection is handled by external current transformers, providing selectable CT ranges of 0.1 to 6 Amps and 5 to 16 Amps. One current transformer per pump is utilized to monitor current draw on each active line. The on-board dials allow independent threshold calibration for both connected pumps.
The dual-pump controller supports level-empty level control or pressure-boosting control via DIP switch 1. Level Empty coordinates emptying operations through five float switches, while pressure mode utilizes up to three pressure switches. Standard duty alternation shifts the active pump on start or after 30 minutes, while recirculation mode rotates pumps after six hours. To reduce water surge and avoid excessive line load, a staggered starting delay separates pump starts.
The indoor IP54 mild steel enclosure has a single door with a padlockable mains isolator and DIN-rail terminals. Keypad indicators show active level inputs and individual pump runs. Onboard visual and acoustic indicators drive a visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms provide indication of system faults, with smart chirp mode silencing the buzzer after five minutes. Standard outputs include a volt-free BMS fault contact and Modbus RTU RS485 terminals. Software safety includes low level, prime loss, and a 7-day pump anti-seize cycle.
