The FPC-81243 HydroSTART regulates two three-phase 400 Vac pumps in standard indoor setups. Its IP54 powder-coated mild steel cabinet has a single-door layout for clean utility room mounting. This dual-pump level controller coordinates drainage or transfer systems to keep active inflows balanced.
The panel connects to a standard three-phase 400 Vac electrical supply, utilizing an active neutral wire for the board. It features electronic overload protection using external current transformers, with selectable ranges of 0.1 to 6 Amps and 5 to 16 Amps. To monitor three-phase currents, two current transformers per pump track two supply phase lines. This provides reliable digital current sensing and phase monitoring for the dual pumps.
The controller provides selectable level-empty and pressure-boosting operating modes for the dual three-phase pumps. Level control empty uses up to five float switches, while pressure-boosting setups use up to three pressure switches. The panel supports standard duty alternation every 30 minutes or recirculation alternation after 6 hours. Both three-phase pumps are started with a three-second staggered start delay to protect local electrical lines.
The indoor IP54 cabinet is fitted with contactors for three-phase switching and individual circuit breakers. The dual-pump capacitive keypad features status indicators and manual mode select buttons. Alarm signals activate a visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms provide indication of system faults, with smart chirp mode silencing the alarm after five minutes. Modbus RTU RS485 terminals support SCADA communication, and a common fault contact connects to BMS. Software safety includes low-level protection and a 7-day pump anti-seize cycle.
