MATelec HydroSTART FPC-82141-CON Mild Steel IP56 1PH 0.1-6A/5-16A Single Pump Controller with Conductivity Probes

Outdoor pump installations requiring conductivity probe level detection can utilize an inner-door enclosure configuration. Operating on a single-phase 230Vac supply, this single-pump panel incorporates a Conductivity Module providing inputs for up to 5 conductivity probes plus common, housed in an outdoor-rated enclosure.

The Conductivity Module communicates via ME-NET and features a programmable 0 to 10 second delay between probe signal received and signal sent to the PCB, assisting in alleviating false alarms. The controller manages pump start and stop cycles based on probe contact while providing electronic overload protection across selectable 0.1–6A and 5–16A current ranges. Low level lockout, undercurrent, and zero current fault protections are also supported.

Operator feedback is provided via a HydroSTART capacitive touch keypad with LEDs displaying power, system enable, probe level states, pump auto/manual modes, pump run, and fault diagnostics. Local alarms include an integrated visual strobe and an audible buzzer with smart chirp silencing. A padlockable mains power isolator and dedicated circuit breaker provide physical isolation and circuit protection.

Housed in a 400 x 300 x 200 mm powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door, the panel is IP56 rated for outdoor mounting. Inclusions comprise a removable gland plate, a volt-free BMS common fault output, and Modbus RTU Serial RS485 connections for SCADA.
