To control a single three-phase pump in outdoor environments, the FPC-82143-E HydroSTART uses an IP56-rated powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door. It features a protective inner door for enhanced electrical isolation in open weather conditions. This unit manages standard sewage pump-out or drainage pits with dedicated level monitoring.

Designed for three-phase 400 Vac power networks, the panel requires a neutral wire to supply its low-voltage control circuits. Overload protection is managed by an external thermal overload relay adjustable between 12 and 18 Amps. The thermal elements heat up and deflect during prolonged overcurrent, isolating the contactor switching lines. The unit must undergo a natural cooldown period before the fault can be reset.

DIP switch configuration on the control board selects between level-empty level control and pressure-boosting setups. Level Empty uses float switches for low level, stop, start, and high level, whereas Pressure Boost utilizes a pressure switch. Keypad buttons enable manual mode, with DIP switch 5 providing a five-minute manual timeout to prevent prolonged unmonitored running.

The IP56 weather-resistant cabinet is fitted with three-phase contactors, individual circuit breakers, and an inner door. Keypad indicators show active level inputs and system status. Onboard alarms drive a visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms provide indication of system faults under smart chirp control. SCADA networks communicate over Modbus RTU RS485 terminals, and a volt-free BMS common fault relay is standard. Software features include low-level protection and a 7-day pump anti-seize program.
