MATelec HydroSTART FPC-82241-RCAPA Mild Steel IP56 1PH 0.1-6A/5-16A Dual Pump Controller

Single-phase pump installations requiring a run capacitor configuration can be supplied with the RCAP option. Designed for single-phase 230Vac supply, this dual-pump panel incorporates run capacitors while retaining standard dual-pump control, sequencing, and protection functions.

The controller manages automated duty sharing and alternation across both single-phase pumps, alternating the duty pump on each start cycle and after 30 minutes of continuous running. When the standby start input closes, the standby pump is energized to assist. A 3-second staggered start delay prevents simultaneous motor starts to reduce electrical current draw and water surge. Independent electronic current sensing protects both motors with selectable 0.1–6A and 5–16A overload ranges.

The panel features a dual-pump capacitive touch keypad with status LEDs for power, system enable, level alarms, pump run status, auto/manual modes, and fault codes. An integrated visual strobe and audible buzzer alarm include smart chirp silencing. Configurable DIP switches enable Level Control (up to 5 floats) or Pressure Control (up to 3 pressure switches).

Built into a 400 x 400 x 200 mm powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door, the panel is IP56 rated for outdoor mounting. Hardware includes a padlockable mains isolator, individual circuit breakers per pump, a removable gland plate, a volt-free BMS common fault output, and Modbus RTU Serial RS485 connections for SCADA.
