Wired for two single-phase pump runs, the MATelec Australia HydroSTART FPC-82241-SMS offers mobile network fault text reports. Housed in an IP56 powder-coated mild steel enclosure with a secure inner door, the system provides high durability in demanding outdoor or indoor installations. This model features a built-in ME-Link SMS dialler for control and monitoring via SMS.

The HydroSTART runs in level empty control mode using float switches, or pressure boost mode via pressure switches. Its main circuit board manages digital inputs for low level, duty stop, duty start, standby start, high level, and system enable to coordinate pump duty sharing.

An integrated current-sensing module monitors pump motor running current to guard against motor overloads, undercurrent, and zero-current faults. To prevent pump seizure, an automatic anti-seize timer periodically runs idle pumps for five seconds every seven days to prevent mechanical lockups during low-use periods.

The cabinet features a removable bottom gland plate for cable entry, alongside a padlockable mains power isolator switch. Before undertaking any installation, wiring, or maintenance work on the panel, you must isolate all electrical supply circuits to prevent electrical shocks. All electrical connections must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered electrician in accordance with relevant electrical standards.
