MATelec HydroSTART FPC-82241-SS Stainless Steel IP56 Inner Door 1PH 0.1-6A/5-16A Dual Pump Controller

Stormwater and sewage pump-out applications requiring dual-pump operation can be configured with an outdoor 316 stainless steel enclosure. Operating on a single-phase 230Vac supply, this configuration provides independent electronic current sensing for two pumps across selectable 0.1–6A and 5–16A ranges.

Control logic alternates the duty pump on each start cycle and after 30 minutes of continuous running in standard alternation mode, or after 6 hours of accumulated runtime in recirculation mode. When the standby start input closes, the standby pump is brought online to assist. A 3-second staggered start delay prevents simultaneous pump starts to reduce electrical current draw and water surge. If the duty pump experiences a fault, the controller automatically alternates duty to the other pump.

The panel features a dual-pump capacitive touch keypad with indicator lights for power, system enable, level alarms, individual pump run status, auto/manual modes, and fault codes. An integrated visual strobe and audible buzzer with smart chirp silencing provide local alarm alerts. The controller supports Level Control mode (up to 5 float switches) or Pressure Control mode (up to 3 pressure switches).

Built into a 400 x 400 x 200 mm 316 stainless steel enclosure with an inner door, the unit is IP56 rated for outdoor mounting. Inclusions comprise a padlockable mains isolator, individual circuit breakers per pump, a removable gland plate, a volt-free BMS common fault output, and Modbus RTU Serial RS485 connections for SCADA.
