MATelec HydroSTART FPC-82243-CON Mild Steel IP56 3PH 0.1-6A/5-16A Dual Pump Controller with Conductivity Probes

Three-phase dual-pump applications requiring conductivity probe level detection can combine multi-probe sensing with three-phase contactor switching. This 400Vac three-phase dual-pump panel includes a Conductivity Module providing inputs for up to 5 conductivity probes plus common, housed in an IP56 inner-door enclosure.

The Conductivity Module communicates via ME-NET and features a programmable 0 to 10 second delay between probe signal received and signal sent to the control module, assisting in alleviating false alarms. The controller coordinates three-phase contactors with automatic duty alternation on start and after 30 minutes of continuous running. When the standby start probe detects liquid, the standby pump starts to assist, supported by a 3-second staggered start delay. Two current transformers per pump monitor two phases across selectable 0.1–6A and 5–16A overload ranges.

The panel features a dual-pump capacitive touch keypad displaying system power, system enable, probe level status, individual pump run states, auto/manual modes, and fault codes. Visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms feature smart chirp silencing. The control module also provides low level lockout, undercurrent, zero current, and pump anti-seize protections.

Built into a 400 x 400 x 200 mm powder-coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door, the unit is IP56 rated for outdoor mounting. Features include a padlockable mains isolator switch, individual pump circuit breakers, contactors, a removable gland plate, a volt-free BMS common fault relay, and Modbus RTU Serial RS485 connections for SCADA.
