The FPP-82241-PC is a premium polycarbonate-enclosed HydroSTART PRO controller engineered to govern two single-phase submersible pumps. Operating as a dual-pump professional system, the unit is protected by a weather-resistant IP66 polycarbonate housing equipped with a secure inner door. It provides selectable level and pressure control for demanding dual-pump applications.
Operating on a single-phase 230 Vac electrical supply, the unit delivers reliable starting current to the connected pump terminals. Motor current monitoring is driven by externally mounted current transformers feeding the primary control board. Selectable overload ranges of 0.1 to 6 A and 5 to 16 A are adjustable via dials on the HydroSTART module. This single-phase arrangement utilizes a single current transformer per pump to continuously track electrical current levels.
On-board DIP switch settings allow seamless selection between level control and pressure-boosting operating modes. Level mode coordinates emptying operations through five float switches, while pressure mode utilizes up to three pressure switches. Dual-pump rotation is managed via standard duty sharing, a six-hour accumulated recirculation alternation, or static duty configuration. To avoid high starting currents, a built-in three-second staggered start delay staggers the initiation of both motors.
The IP66 polycarbonate cabinet features an inner door mounted main isolator switch with safety door interlocks. An intuitive capacitive touch interface provides clear visual status of level inputs and pump modes. In the event of an alarm, visual strobe and audible buzzer alarms provide indication of system faults. Modbus RTU serial RS485 terminals allow direct SCADA communication, and a volt-free contact provides BMS common fault status. The control module runs a 7-day pump anti-seize program and integrates low-level protection.
