MATelec HydroTOUCH FPC-43243-S15 Mild Steel IP56 Inner Door 3PH 15kW Soft Start Dual Pump Controller

Sized for 15 kW three phase pumps, the MATelec HydroTOUCH FPC-43243-S15 is a dual pump controller with soft starters rated at 15 kW per pump and adjustable acceleration and deceleration settings. Each pump is equipped with a soft starter with adjustable soft start and soft stop settings, while staggered pump start and stop sequences coordinate pump operation across the system.

Operation is managed from a HydroTOUCH colour touch screen HMI working with the HydroTOUCH PCB control module. Level, pressure and temperature control modes are configured through an easy setup wizard, with control directions for emptying or filling a tank, boosting or dropping pressure, and heating or cooling. Duty sharing and alternation with an adjustable duty change period, pump staging and destaging, staggered pump start and stop, and pump limiting are all adjustable, and pump 1 can be configured as a main pump, jacking pump or mixer.

Fault protection is comprehensive, with most protections adjustable between alarm, lockout and inhibit modes. Cover includes high, medium and low level, pressure or temperature protection, pump overload protection with automatic duty alternation, low flow detection after 30 seconds of running without flow, maximum flow protection after 30 minutes at maximum flow, pump cycle protection, transducer redundancy and discrepancy handling, and analogue input fault detection. Pump anti-seize runs any pump that has not operated within 7 days for 6 seconds, using an individual idle timer for each pump.

The controller is housed in an IP56 rated, powder coated mild steel enclosure with an inner door and removable gland plate, fitted with a pad-lockable mains power isolator switch, circuit breaker protected low voltage control and input circuitry, individual pump isolation and DIN rail mounted terminal connections. Enclosure sizes start at 500x500x300mm and increase for soft starter and higher overload rating configurations. Prior to installation, ensure the power supply is isolated. All electrical connections must be carried out by a suitably qualified and registered electrician in accordance with relevant electrical standards.
