For smooth tank filling across three pumps, the MATelec HydroTOUCH FPC-43320-B delivers 1.5 kW control with two transducer inputs for real-time measurement. This panel manages the operation of triplex-pump configurations using a three-phase power supply of 400 Vac at 50 Hz. Based on real-time sensor feedback, the system adjusts pump performance to maintain the configured operating conditions.
To maintain system efficiency, this panel incorporates advanced PID control parameters that adjust pump speed in response to system feedback. Staggered pump starting and stopping sequences are programmatically executed to prevent electrical current surges and mechanical water hammer. Run hours are balanced across all available drives through built-in duty alternation and automatic sharing protocols.
An integrated Setup Wizard on the 7-inch touchscreen HMI simplifies system commissioning. The interface provides detailed system monitoring, including power usage graphs, trend plots for pressure or level, and logged alarm events.
Standard terminal connections accommodate dual analog 4-20 mA inputs, up to five 24 Vdc digital inputs, and a pulse flow meter. Standard RCD protection is not recommended because VSD EMC filtering can cause nuisance tripping. If RCD protection is required, Type B RCDs must be used with consideration of VSD earth leakage current.
